A collection of mountain peaks, primarily in the Cascade Range of Washington and heavily featuring those with the potential to explode.

Clear days in the Northwest feel few and far between, so when the mountains are visible it feels like seeing old friends after a long time apart.

Scattered throughout the United States, fire lookouts are the secret hideaways, still standing sentinel over the lands they were built to protect.

This collection is an ongoing love letter to the lookouts that I've hiked on the way to visiting all 93 remaining in Washington State, and a few other scattered across the US!

Right out of the sketchbook, these paintings are made combining dust, paint and fresh air. They come home a little worse for wear, but every one is plein air from somewhere with a view.

They are a documentation of a few beautiful places I've spent an afternoon painting in the backcountry or just the side of the road.

A blend of natural wonders and man-made places that bring a little wild into our homes and day to day moments. These are the places between, from the desert to the city there is a little something of everything.
